Memories of a great teacher and even a better baseball coach !! Lasting memories. Condolences to his family on their loss.
Frankie you were truly a great guy. And a great cousin. You always took the time to talk to my boys. They knew what a good person you were too. 🙏❤️
I didn’t consider myself a good history student yet Mr Franceschini made history interesting and fun. I have good memories of a great teacher. Condolences to his family and community.

Plainedge HS had some good teachers, but Mr. Franceschini was a legend. I work in government and I remember his class to this day. He was tough – but fair – and managed to get us to concentrate and listen. Plus he was funny:). I am sad he is gone but will always be thankful. Sympathies to all of his family and friends.
We wish to express our deepest condolences to Nicolette and family. There are not enough words to express what Coach meant to me and my family throughout the years from Plainedge High School to St. John’s University and in my life. Thank you, Coach, for not only teaching me about the game of baseball but also about life. Your wisdom, advice, and mentorship have shaped my character and taught me important life lessons that will carry on with me forever. As you look down from Heaven onto all the fields you ever set foot upon, I hope you smile at the all the lives you have touched and the legacy you have left. God Bless

Coach was a good man and a great baseball coach and role model. He made every effort to keep me focused on school and baseball. There are people in your life you never forget, Coach was one of those for me. God Speed Coach.
Frank was my JV basketball coach and 12th grade Social Studies teacher as a member of the PHS class of 1967.. He was one of the main influences on my becoming a Social Studies teacher and coach.. When I started to teach AP American History he met with me and made suggestions that I found quite helpful. He remained a friend through all these years. Just last year he called to tell me he had just played golf with a parent of one of my former players. Several of us who had played for Frank were on a golf outing last year and connected with him on a telephone call and brought back good memories for all. I wish I had called him more recently. He was a great man who will be missed.
Our condolences to you and family on your loss. May God give you the strength to endure
We want to express our deepest condolences to his family. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend for over 50 years . It will be very sad not to see and speak to him across the street anymore! He will be missed! Rest in peace Frank !
We met Frank – Nic’s grandpa when our daughter Amanda and Nic used to play soccer together. My son Andrew had just started to play golf and Frank lent him his golf clubs. He said don’t buy him a set until he really knows he wants to play so we borrow Franks clubs for a couple of seasons. Always so nice and friendly and I really liked talking to him and updating him on Andrew’s golfing. Thinking of you Sue, your mom Gus and the kids. All Our Love,
Frank was one of my favorite teachers and a terrific human being. He taught AP History and made it fun. He was a big supporter of all athletes and would come watch you compete, even if you didn’t play on his baseball team. I was grateful to have known him and wish his family peace at this time.
