Frank Nardo

Frank P. Nardo, age 92, of Ridge, NY died Thursday, September 19, 2013. Mr. Nardo was born October 3, 1920 in Italy, he was the son of the late Alfio and the late Rose (Centamore) Nardo. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II from 08/22/1942 to 04/03/1946. He was employed by Pepsi Co., Brooklyn, NY as a Checker. He is survived by his loving wife: Theresa (Mazze) Nardo , daughter: Rose Niestadt of Ronkonkoma, NY. son: Alfred Nardo of Bayside, NY, one grandchild and two great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 3:30 pm on Monday, September 23 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Msgr. Jeffrey J. Madley officiating. Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton on Tuesday, September 24 at 10:30 am. Calling hours will be Monday, September 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
