Frederick W. Conroy, Age 80 of Miller Place,NY. Formerly of Port Jefferson, NY. On May 18, 2014Proud Navy Korean War Veteran Beloved husband of Lorraine. Loving father of Brian (Laura), Kenneth (Alethea), and Allison. Cherished grandfather of Phaedra & Iliana and dearest grandpets: Scrappy, Bandit, Cheerio, & Angel. Reposing at Branch Funeral Home of Miller Place 551 Route 25A Miller Place, NY 11764. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass St. Louis de Montfort RCC 10am Friday. Cremation to follow at Washington Memorial Park. Fred was always smiling and quick with a joke you could tell besides his family laughter was his favorite pastime. When i would see him he always asked, how you doing Steve whats going on in sunny Florida?.He truly was interested in you and wanted to get a picture of your life, listening intently asking the right questions. I am so sorry to hear the news of Fred’s passing. My condolences to his wonderful family. He was a great neighbor and I always enjoyed his words of wisdom whenever we spoke. In his honor I will reach out to the leukemia society.
Dad, I know you wanted the best for me and now I realize how important that is. I feel disappointed that I could not do more with my life to please you before you passed.
