I am soooo sad that I didn’t get a chance to see aunt Gena before now. She was my father’s (Calvin Richardson aka unce “Pete’s”) last living sibling. We have kept intouch over the years and she helped me learn about this side of my family.

You were like a second mom to me. I would come spend many days and long nights with u playing cards, backgammon, badmitting, amongst so many other games. Your home was blessed by all the kids in the neighborhood. It was the home where everyone went in the weekends and kept most of us out of trouble. I’m so thankful to have had you as a friend, a mentor, a babysitter, and role model.
You were an amazing person, human being, and I’m truly grateful because you were part of the inspiration that made me become who I am today.
Thank You so much, you will be truly missed.
Love you,
Tracey
