  1. Our deepest condolences to Uncle Sonny, Bobby, Andrea, Louis, Eileen, Annette, Joe and all the grandchildren and great
grandchildren. Aunt Jean was one of a kind with a deep faith and love of family. She was a wonderful hostess and one of my favorite memories is the July 4th party. We would gather – grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, toddlers, newborns, eating, playing games, and getting thrown in a little round pool (which we thought was great) and then in a beautiful in ground pool. There were all kinds of specialty dishes and desserts that she spent days and days preparing and loving every minute. Thank you for your love and generosity. She made every visit special. My mom and I would visit her and she would put out china cups and saucers and a teapot making every visit special. Aunt Jean sent a card for every occasion; birthdays, anniversaries, Communion, Confirmation, new babies, etc. There was never an event not acknowledged and celebrated by her. Rest in the Peace of God’s Love, Aunt Jean. You will be sorely missed and please kiss my mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, and the aunts and uncles who you will be celebrating with now.
    Love Christine and Matthew

  3. Jean was a very special cousin. She and Sonny never said a bad word about anyone. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. There are so many people in heaven, including my mom, who will be holding her close. I still have a little fake Christmas tree that she gave me during one of the parties. I think of her every time I put it out in my classroom. I am thinking of her whole family and will always remember her. ❤ Valerie Carroll

  4. I will forever remember the warmth and love that Aunt Jean extended to me upon our first meeting in welcoming me to “The Family” shortly after her niece Rachel and I began dating. A true angel has been called home !
    Kindly,
    Q III

  5. Our sincere condolences to all on the loss of such a great person. Heaven gained yet another Angel and the party they must all be having right now. Favorite memory is of all the 4th of July parties in Hempstead (and the punch bowl). It was the highlight of our summers. She made each of us feel special, always remembering birthdays and anniversaries, a truly beautiful lady!!

    RIP, Aunt Jean.

    Love,
    Rachel, Quentin and family

  6. “Aunt Jean” welcomed me and my family as if we were Amalfitano’s. Her gracious manner, loving ways and happiness were given to all who were lucky to be in her company and at her home especially on 4th of July and Christmas. She and “Uncle Sonny” shared a very special love which we can all hope to attain. She will be sorely missed by all of us but very welcomed by her family in heaven who are greeting her with open arms. My condolences and love to Uncle Sonny and my adopted “cousins” Bobby, Annette and Louis and their beautiful families.
