Williams, George E., of Smithtown, NY on July 30, 2017. Proud veteran Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne US Army. Retired Sergeant SCPD 2nd Precinct, Member of the Emerald Society and SOA Delegate. Beloved husband of Rosemary. Loving father of Jean (Richard) Mercurio, Laura (Jeffery) Green, Anne (William) Ball. Cherished grandfather of Marissa, Teressa Richard, Hunter, Angelina, William and George. Dear brother of Daniel Williams and Barbara (William Shelley) Williams. Visitation will be at The Branch Funeral Home, 190 E. Main St., Smithtown, NY on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:00 am at Sts. Phlip & James R.C. Church, St. James. Cremation Washington Memorial Park. Interment of cremains to follow at St. Charles Cemetery at a later date. In Lieu of flowers; memorial donations may be made in memory of George to the charity of your choice.

I love you. I wish I listened to more of your stories because you had so many. I’m sorry I didn’t visit more. I’m sorry I didn’t talk to you as much as I should’ve. I didn’t know how to but now I wish I just did. I wish I was more mature about things and came to visit you more. Even though we weren’t as close as you were with my other siblings I love you so much and I’ll miss you everyday.
