George Kumerle

George Kumerle, age 88, of Ridge, NY died Friday, October 14, 2016. George was born January 17, 1928 in Queens, NY. He is the son of the late George and Marie (Peterman) Kumerle. He served in the US Navy from 1946 to 1947. He was employed by KLM Airlines in New York as the Lead Operating Agent. He is survived by his wife: Teresa (Tomasulo) Kumerle , one daughter: Kristine DiRocco of Smithtown, NY and two sons: Kenneth Kumerle of South Carolinia and Kevin Kumerle of Brewster, NY. He also has 4 grandchildren. Prayers will be offered 11:00 am on Monday, October 17 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton at 11:30 pm. Visiting hours will be Monday, October 17 from 9-11AM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
