  1. George…A true gentlemen! First meet him tears ago at a Pontiac show in Huntington. Loved his car, its workmenship and his display of tiny, running engines. What talant. Will miss his conversation. May God bless him and his dear wife.

  2. I heard of the passing of George from a mutual friend who also knew George. I sure miss conversing with him. I first met him about ten years ago at a car show. He told me he made the pistons for the engine. Being a machinist myself, I was impressed. He always made the time to talk to anyone willing to talk. Two years ago we were standing outside the antique machine shop in Riverhead, everyone else had left, We stood outside and talked for about and hour. The last time I saw George was at his house, about for months ago. He was recovering from a broken leg. He had machined down some valve adjusting shims for me and called me to pick them up. I put them in the car and it is running fine. I had been thinking I have to call George and tell and thank him. Sorry that I never got around to thanking him. I truely miss my friend
