I came across this poem today and wanted to share.
In Memory of my Brother, Gerard
I hold onto our memories
The ones that are so dear
To try to keep you always close
Now you are not here
You were called, it was your time
But it is so true
You have left a legacy
There was no one like you
You were very special
And I want to say
I feel lost in many ways
You are not here today
But I will never forget you
And I know I have been blessed
To have you for my Brother
Because you were the best!!!
I LOVE YOU!!!!
My cousin Gerard was larger than life! He not only walked into a room, he owned it. He was funny, opinionated, irreverent and the life of the party. His heart was so large that it could envelope anyone who chose to be a part of his life. He loved his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his sister, Barbara, his cousins and his many, many friends. The loving arms of his Mom, Dad, Aunt, Uncle and Cousins are there to welcome him home. He will once again dance the “Kazatski”.
So sorry to hear about Gerry.
Our deepest condolences.
Carolyn: My deepest sympathies. It is my privilege to call Gerry a Brother and friend. God bless.
Caroline, sorry for your loss. We will truly miss him. All our love, thoughts and prayers.
