Guestbook

  1. candleI was saddened to hear of Gloria’s passing. I spent a lot of time in her home when Jack and I were kids, and she was always warm, welcoming and extremely generous. Truly like a second mom. Condolences to Jack, Melissa, Maria and the entire family. Gloria was definitely one of the good ones.

  2. Shannon and I will surely miss Gloria (“Mama G”); we loved her and always will. Rest In Peace, Mama G.
Our deepest sympathies to Jack, Melissa, Nicolina, Maria & family.

  3. candleI will miss Mrs.G greatly. I always loved going over there during the holidays. Miss you rest easy and her memories live on.

  4. Tante Gloria—
You have always been a shining presence in our lives. Heaven has a new and beautiful Angel watching over us. Sending love, prayers, and sympathy to your family.

  5. candleI will truly miss Mrs. G and our special friendship. So grateful we had a few moments to speak recently. The loss of a Mother is immeasurable. My deepest sympathy to the family.

  6. Your mom was a wonderful and wise woman. She taught me so much as my Girl Scout leader and as a friend and neighbor to the Druckers (where I practically lived growing up). She was tough and strong, funny and kind. The last time we spoke at length a few years ago, she imparted wisdom that shifted the way I was looking at an issue in my life. I always had great affection for her. She will be missed.

  7. candleJack very sorry for your loss. I am so glad you were able to spend time with her! Our Deepest Sympathy to you and your family.

  8. candleGloria was a true lady – she never complained, always showed all the love in the world to those she was with and made me smile and laugh every time we were together. She had class, charisma and respect for others. and most of all she loved her family – especially her granddaughter Nicolina – and her son Jack, who made breakfast for her everyday and never left her side. She will be missed by many – but will never leave my heart. With love and compassion to her family and friends, may she rest noe is peace – Love Margot

  9. We are so sad to hear of Gloria’s passing. The Giannolas have always been family to me and Gloria was like a second mother. She was truly a great and inspiring woman who had significant impact on my life. She exemplified the kind heart and values we all should endeavor to live by. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, but she will live on in our memories. Our hearts are with Jack, Maria and the rest of the Giannola clan.

  10. Jackie, Melissa, Maria and your families,
This is simply the saddest news. I loved your mother. She influenced my life in so many ways and has always held a very special place in my heart and in my memories. She was always so easy to talk to, funny, smart, no nonsense and someone you could always turn to. She loved her children and her grandchildren so much, and she always found happiness in them. And the funniest thing was Jackie and Maria used to always think my mother was the best cook – the fried chicken, pies etc. But what I loved was going across the street and watching Ma G cook her incredible eggplant and other specialties. She made me an eggplant lover for life! I will miss her so much. We send you all our deepest condolences. Love Lisa and Steve Rhodes

  11. Reading through these posts I can say that I wasn’t the only one who looked at mamma 2 as a second mom. Truly one of the strongest woman anyone of us will ever know. She was always in my thoughts and she will be missed. Love to her and the entire family from the Giuffrida’s.

  12. Jack, So sorry to hear about your mom as she was a real sweetheart and a delight to be with every time I had the occasion!

  15. candleDearest Jack, I’m SO sorry about your Mom. She was such a strong and joyful person. I remember running into her at BJs wheeling around and shopping. She was all over town in her Cadillac. Nothing stopped her. She loved life and she loved her family the most. Specially you Jack. You were by her side practically every single day for the last 20 yrs or so. I’ve never seen anything like it. A constant love and support around her along with Melissa and Nicolina. My deepest condolences to you, Maria, Melissa, Nicolina, Rocco and Tyler. These are most difficult times. May your many special memories with her comfort you through it all. Her legacy is her unconditional love and light. May it live in your heart forever and celebrate her with the warmest smile and biggest hug whenever you hear Gloria, your wonderful and amazing Mom. Love you Jack. Always look up 🙏🏼✨💫♥️
