Gloria Zurek

Gloria Zurek, age 92, of Rocky Point died Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Gloria was born October 25, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late George and Anna (Retejuim) Upit. She was employed in sales at Macy's, in Huntington, NY. She is survived by three daughters: Barbara Hennessy of Baiting Hollow, NY, Amy Zahralban of Farmingville, NY and Debbie Hagmeyer of Rocky Point, NY,; ; She also has 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her Husband, Edward J. Zurek. Prayers will be held 9:00 pm on Saturday, March 11 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. A private cremation will follow. Burial of her cremains with be at Calverton National Cemetery at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Visiting hours will be Saturday, March 11 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
