Hi Mom,
Thank you for all you did to care for me, and for Miranda and Justin when they were little. Not every grandma taught her grand kids to gamble with pennies and offered cake and candy like you. No wonder they gave you such a run for your money! They had so very many great memories with you, Mum Mum. You were so much fun; we loved your silliness, fun-loving spirit and the outrageous things you’d say. You were the only person I knew who danced when they tried on new clothes and shoes if you liked them. Just so adorable! I did my very best to care for you in your later years; I’m grateful for being given that opportunity. The comic relief was left to John who did your PT alongside of you to keep you going, and would make you laugh until you punched him in the arm for whatever he’d said. I can still hear the two of you laughing and laughing. You won yet another heart with Lauren who would help you up/down stairs and lead you around with your walker; her visits to the Arbors were out of sheer love. Let’s face it, you stole all our hearts and you will be sorely miss, Mom.
Until we meet again, my Mom with the beautiful smile, may you be dancing all over Heaven, breathing freely, and feeling wonderful! I love you.
I have so many happy memories of you and our time together that it’s just too hard to pick one. What I will never forget is your unconditional love and patience. For that I am eternally grateful. You have set the bar pretty high for me as I try to be as good of a grandmother to my own granddaughter. I love you,
Your Shannon
Carmelo & I are greatful for being able to know you & pray that the peace of Our Lord is shining around. You were truly blessed to have a daughter like Kathleen who was always there for you the way God intended. Rest in Peace, Carmello & Ann
