  2. Pat and family – I am so sorry to hear about the passing of, Howie. He was such a vibrant and charming man ! Thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

  5. For me and Howie it was a journey that spanned 65 years. Lots of cherished memories. I will miss my friend.

  6. For the past fifteen years, I have seen my friend Howie once a year—at tax time! Who likes to visit their tax preparer? I always did. I looked forward to that visit because it was a chance to catch up and have some good laughs with a special person. He had a big heart and was such a vital presence, and I can’t believe he’s gone.

    My condolences to his friends and family—everyone who loved him.

  7. I don’t know how to say goodbye to one of my oldest and much-cherished friends. Dearest Howie – I’ve loved you like a brother. May you rest in peace. My love and prayers to Pat and all the loved ones you leave behind. I hope we all soon find solace in our loving memories of you.

  15. I have known Alysa, his daughter for over ten years. She is an exceptional person in every way. To know her is an absolute blessing and I had to honor her Dad because he definitely played an important role in her life and therefore, he too must have been a rare and precious gem. May those that loved him and those he loved find peace and comfort through sweet memories. Prayers and love to Alysa and his lovely family.

  17. Deena and I were so sorry to hear of Howards passing. For so many years, we seemed to bump into Howard and Pat wherever we went. It became a standing joke with us. We always said we would make plans to get together but time just flew by. We regret that we did not spend more time together because we got along so well. Our sincere condolences to Pat and the family. He will certainly be missed.
