Irene Cidoni, age 93, who lived in Fredericksburg, VA, passed away on February 7, 2023, with
her family by her side.
Born in Brooklyn on February 16, 1929, Irene is the daughter of Sebastian and Angelina Siano,
and the youngest of 9 children. In Manhattan, she pursued a career in the fashion industry. She
was a pattern maker and fashion designer catering to the elite.
She married the love of her life Stephen on September 22, 1957. Is the mother of two sons,
Stephen and Thomas, and grandmother of Stephen, Daniel, Thomas, and Vincent.
Irene was the centerpiece of the family who enjoyed cooking, baking, and entertaining. She had
a wonderful sense of humor. Her kindness and generosity has touched so many people, and
she will be dearly missed.
