Jim touched so many people in so many ways. I know you are all devastated by this heartbreaking loss. Jim had a heart of gold, literally and figuratively. He was always helping those he cared about. That will forever be his legacy. We will miss him, his smile and his laugh. Sending prayers, condolences and love.

Rest peacefully, my dear friend. You will be missed more than you know by more people than you could possibly count.
And to your wife Maria, may you find comfort in knowing you made him happy everyday! This loss is a shock to many but for you….I imagine unbearable. May God help you to grieve and bring him to you in happy thoughts and dreams.
May God welcome you Jim as you enter this new realm in the presence of God, peace and joy.
You touched so many with your heart and good sense. And your wicked sense of humor was always welcomed!
I’m not sure how those beautiful grand babies you love so much are going to grow up without you!
I hope you’ll guide them as they grow from your new lofty perch Jim. God has welcomed a very deserving man into Heaven and Heaven is better for it.
Rest In Peace my dear friend.
Love, Katie Galvin
His wife’s name was Maria. I lost another good friend last year, l hope you got over the loss too!
Jim you were kind man and made me laugh.
thoughts and hugs to all your family.
Jim you were a kind friend and made me laugh.
My thought and hugs to all your family.
I had the good fortune to have known Jim for over 55 years, since 8th grade at East Northport JHS. I was looking forward to getting together for our lunch dates again, which were pretty much cancelled since the onset of Covid in March of 2020. The last time I saw Jim was for lunch at Crab Meadow Beach, in late September of last year.
As I seem to be saying with increasing frequency lately, having lost two close friends within the course of less than 3 weeks; Sic transit gloria mundi….so passes the glory of the world. Jim, rest in peace my good friend. I will always have very fond memories of you, and I will very much miss you.

Very sorry for the loss of your husband and father. He always had a kind word and was a kind neighbor. May he rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences to the Welsh family. May you find peace knowing Jim earned his wings long before he left this earth. His kindness was contagious and his presence was comforting.
I am so sorry to hear of Jims passing. I did a very long deal with him and he used to always have a joke about it. He was such a nice guy. Glad to have had the chance to work with him. Sending sympathy and prayers to his family.
More like him. Great memories from high school along with his brother Tom. Certainly both gone too soon.
