Guestbook

  1. Dear Giargiana Family: I am saddened to hear of Jim’s passing; he never gave up hope for a better life and always kept a positive attitude towards his challenges and condition. We will miss him and what he stood for. Our thoughts are with you all.Sadly but with fond memories of Jim,Dr. Kaskel

  2. Dear Joe and family,Curt and I were so sorry to here of the loss of your brother. From what you had told us he struggled so much, words are inadequate but the only comfort is that he isn’t suffering anymore. Our love and deepest sympathy,Susan & Curtis

  3. Jim is most remembered by me (Carol) for his unending ways to make me and others feel comfortable around him. He worked at it, I think, but it wasn’t a job, it was a natural talent. At family reunions, he’d sit on top of the cooler, and crack jokes. I think it was his way of distracting us so he could keep whatever goodies were in that cooler!!! Except his jokes were really great, and he always had a circle of people around him–so maybe it was the beginnings of a stand-up comic career! He was such a character. I will miss his giving, empathic nature. No doubt he knew his baseball, and he and Chris struck up a nice flow of conversation at the reunions. I know Chris will miss that. I have seen Jim as this bright light, and JP and Kim, as well. So, I attribute that to Gen and Joe and their beautiful capacity to love, which is evident in their utter devotion to their children, and in Jim’s needs. Jim, I hope you crack that bat in heaven. Show God what you’re made of. We love you. xoxo Carol, Chris and Matt Gallipoli

  4. I was very upset to learn of Jimmy’s passing. Although, I haven’t seen him in a couple of years he will be missed. Missed for his indominerable spirit, positive attitude, and constant joking chuckle. He is in a good place. My thoughts and prayers are with you all; Mr. and Mrs G, Joe and Kim Ann.

  5. Jim was a remarkable life long friend of mine who will forever be missed. He left an indelible impression on me like no other. His witty sense of humor, intelligence, devotion to the New York Yankees and concern for others, despite his own tremendous life long struggles cannot be put into words. Other than he carried himself much the way God would have wanted, that is why I truly feel he is in paradise. My heart felt condolences go out to his mother, father, brother and sister, for their own life long sacrifices to make Jim’s life on earth as easy as possible.
