James “Jay” Michael Sasek
March 17, 1976 – February 3, 2026
James “Jay” Michael Sasek, 49, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026. Jay was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend whose kindness touched everyone who knew him.

He grew up surrounded by love from his parents, Robert and Patricia, and his siblings Lori, Jeremy, Michael, and Stephanie. Jay built a beautiful life with his wife, Michelle, and was a proud and loving father to Adele, John Paul, Robert, and stepfather to Mikey, Paulie, and Hailey.

Jay was known for his big heart, quick wit, and willingness to help anyone in need. As a volunteer firefighter, Paramedic and EMT, he lived a life rooted in service and compassion. He deeply loved his family, shared a special bond with his dogs Diesell and Shea, and had an incredible gift for taking anything apart and putting it back together. Curious by nature, he loved to learn and teach and was always reading just to discover something new.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, integrity, and generosity. Jay will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to the GoFundMe supporting his arrangements during this difficult time. His passing was completely unexpected, making this loss even more heartbreaking for all who loved him.
