James Morehouse

James Michael Morehouse, age 82, of Ridge, New York died Saturday, October 19, 2013. Born June 7, 1931 in Brooklyn , NY, he was the son of the late Chauncey and the late Evelyn (Cohen) Morehouse. He served in the Air Force during the Korean war from 04/20/1951 to 10/12/1953. He was employed by AIS, New York City, NY as a Tax/Title Searcher. He is survived by his loving wife: Elizabeth(Ronai) Morehouse, daughters: Ellen Bacotti of New Hyde Park, NY, Sally Fritz of Ridge, NY, Lisa Morehouse of Glen Cove, NY, Seven Grandchildren, and Four Great Grandchildren. Predeceased in death by his beloved Son, Michael Morehouse, and Daughter, Judith Maddox. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, October 24 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Rev. Jeffrey H. Kolbo officiating. Burial will follow in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale. Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
