Adored grandfather of Michelle (Louis), Michael, Meagan (Dre), Katie (Erik), Kristina (Mike), Joseph (Marissa), Matthew (Clare), John (Christina), Elizabeth (Joey), Jillian (Austin), William, Billy (Jordan), Brittany (Jared), Gabrielle (Eric), Andrew (Victoria), Daniel, Jacquelyn (Christopher), Jessica (Michael), Rocco (Brittany), James and Amanda. Cherished great-grandfather of Daniel, Emma, Jimmy, Derek, Maggie, Owen, Nora, Olivia, Cecilia, Damian, Mia, Isabella, Edward, Lucy, Henry, Jane, Robert, Gabriel, Phoebe, Clark, Calum, Miles, Beau, Nathaniel, Leina, Catherine, Peter, Elizabeth, Francis, Genevieve, Gregory, Joseph, Patrick, Andrew, Maria and Charlie.   3. Jim Moran was a great man and a dear friend to our family , The Morans lived across the hall from us, the Piccari family, on Dyckman Street in the 1950’s and 60’s. When they moved out of the city to Holbrook, we moved to Bay Shore, and our families remained friends. I was a kid back then, and I remember Jim and Carmen, Michael, Eileen,Carolyn , Marybeth, and I remember when Jamie was born, too. Those were good times. Back then, Jim was a policeman. I always admired and respected Jim. We all did. .He lived a long life. May he rest in peace in heaven.
