JJ was an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, and teammate.

Deepest condolences to the family. I know time has passed, I am sorry that I didn’t know about Jay’s passing sooner. I was just looking him up today to reconnect. We had met in treatment, I came in very scared, not knowing what to expect and he made me very comfortable. We spent each day together for a month. He was an intelligent, thoughtful, funny and caring person. We connected on a level that only a fellow afflicted person would understand. It was like we knew each other for years after just a few days. He loved his family. May he rest in peace.
