Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. candleDad was such a good man. He was a loving husband and a wonderful dad to both me and Gail. He accepted both of us from the day he met mom. He was always willing to listen and give sound advice in a caring way. His paintings were beautifully done throughout the years and will be on my walls forever. He will be missed but the memories will last forever. 🙏🏻❤️

  2. Jim was the pinnacle of Glen Drive. A neighbor, a storyteller, a painter, a kind and generous man who encouraged community and camaraderie.
Jim often shared that he was “ready” as he waited for the call home. May he rest in peace.

  3. I had the pleasure of overseeing my father’s wellbeing since his wife passed in May 2021. I told my step mother, Eileen, I would take care of my father when she was in Good Shepherd hospice. He was ready to go since his Eileen passed. He would often say “my bags are packed.” His joy was painting hours a day, frequent runs to Costco and Wendy’s with Lucy, his caregiver. He always thanked Jesus every night that he could sleep in his own bed. Then he said he would pray to Jesus for his son, Noel and daughter, Cherie. He didn’t complain about his aches and pains and said any discomfort is part of the aging process. I love you and miss you Dad, but comforted that you are in the arms of Jesus, your Lord and Savior.
