  8. We were all saddened by the loss of Dear Joan. Joan was a part of 5 North for 20 years. Joan brought joy, laughter, hope and the promise that our sick and suffering patients could change their lives by doing the right things “one day at a time”. Joan was an inspiration to all of us. We always looked forward to our “Wednesdays with Joan”. She was so positive and upbeat that we couldn’t help but smile. We will miss her Irish smile, but we know that Joan is dancing around heaven, having a wonderful time.

Well done, Dear Joan, well done!

  9. What a wonderful lady. We will remember her with such fondness. Especially our visit to Wading River to finally meet Joan and all the family. That was a great day. Thinking and praying for all the family at this very difficult time. The Tohill family, Belfast xox
