Dear Mom, I hope you are at peace now and that you enjoy heaven and have been reunited with the people you loved and missed including dad, Aunt Betty and Aunt Catherine, Grandma, and of course all the dogs that you loved and kept you company over the years including Sam, Buttons, Kerry, Pepper and Daphne. I will miss all our Mother’s Day dinners (I know seafood), Thanksgivings, Christmas, your birthday, all of our outings and of course your favorite outings, the Casinos. Thank you for all you taught me and how much you have inspired me to never give up and never let people put you down. All the care you showed everyone rubbed off on me and inspired me to become a teacher. I am who I am today because of you. All the nurses at the center told me you were their favorite which didn’t surprise me. I plan to bring all you taught me into the future to live a better life and to be as good to other as you were. You told me just a week before you went to heaven that if you had a slice of bread and someone next to you wanted it, you would give it to them. It’s that kind of love and generosity that our world needs I look forward to seeing you someday. Rest in eternal peace.
