Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. We were 4 “Jo Anns” who taught across the hall from each other! Many happy memories! JoAnn was a true friend and free spirit! She was always there for you. I will miss her laugh and wonderful personality. God bless.
    ~Jo Ann De Simone ~

  2. JoAnn was a kind and thoughtful person. She took me under her wing as a new teacher long ago. She has been a true friend ever since. She was always happy, encouraging, and always spreading joy!

  3. candleJoAnn was one of the most beautiful and fun people she’ll be missed, I’ll keep her memories alive because in my heart she’ll always be.

  4. Joann, this candle represents the light that you have shone and continue to shine on your students, colleagues, friends, and family. You have been a blessing in this life!

  5. candleMy Aunt was a beautiful person, both inside and out. Her humor and her compassion for others will always be remembered by me and all who had the privilege of knowing her. I have been blessed to know and love her. You will be missed, Aunt Joann. Rest In Peace until we meet again.

  6. So many fond memories of Joanne and her wonderful special Ed classes throughout my years at Albany Avenue. She was a wonderful teacher and left her mark on so many of her students as well as those of us who had the pleasure of working with her.

  7. candleI grew up across the street from JoAnn in Farmingdale from 1960-70. She was always the positive, cheerful, funny person my parents and brother and sisters would talk to and see on Hallock Street.

May she find eternal peace, and God Bless her.

  8. Joann, I will miss you beyond words. You left me with so many happy memories from when we moved to
Farmingdale in 1960, across the road from your Mom & Dad’s house. Your Mom was more to me than
a first cousin, so was your Dad. You and the family were always happy people to be with. Joseph and Paul,
Deborah & Lisa have so many happy memories the 10 years we lived there. I will miss our phone visits.
Rest in peace. LOVE YOU COUSIN ROSE, ROCHESTER
