Joanne Carter

Joanne Carter, age 80, of Ridge, New York died Thursday, June 27, 2024. Joanne was born July 14, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of the late Walter and the late Claire (Bittner) Geiger. She is survived by her beloved husband, James T. Carter, two loving sons, James B. Carter of Peoria, Arizona and Brian M Carter of Shrewsbury, New Jersey and one dear sister, Claire Seiferheld. She is also the cherished grandmother of five grandchildren and great grandmother of two precious great grandchildren. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home. 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Celebration of the Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at St. Mark's RC Church, 105 Randall Road, Shoreham, New York. Private cremation will follow. Visiting hours will be Friday, July 12, 2024 from 4 PM - 8 PM at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York.
