JoAnne knew that helping others was the secret sauce to a happy life. She made it her career. A career that had her meeting with political leaders, business leaders and with courts to make sure those needing help received it. Amazingly, although offering that help exposed her to people in desperate situations, incredible sadness and even danger, she never lost her love of life, sense of humor or her sunny disposition. Many will miss her.

Such a beautiful soul. I will forever remember your crumble cake and those wonderful lobsters… above all, your kind and gentle hospitality to me and my family. You have been part of my children’s lives from afar for so many years and have a very dear place in all our hearts. I promise you that we will always be there for Karin and Cristian… sleep well dear Joanne xxx
