John Barchi, age 60, of Port Jefferson died Monday, March 6, 2017. John was born July 21, 1956 in Queens, NY. He is the son of the late Robert and Joan (Sutphen) Barchi. He was employed as a Freelance Art Director in New York City, NY. He was a Co-Owner of Grace's in Rocky Point. He is survived by two sisters: Susan Field (Jack) of Florida and Barbara Mosher of Florida, his brother: James Barchi of Port Jefferson, NY and Florida. His nephew, Christopher Mosher and niece, Stephanie Mosher both of Florida. Prayers will be offered 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 8 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Memorial visiting hours will be Wednesday, March 8 from 4 - 7PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice 110 Bi-County Blvd., Ste 114 Farmingdale, NY 11735 .

  4. I have many fond memories of John from high school. He was my buddy. He had an infectious laugh, great sense of humor, and was an all around good guy. Heaven got another angel.

  5. Although we knew you were battling a terrible illness it was still a shock to us. You and I were texting about the Shamrock coolies and inviting you down for a visit just recently. We are happy, however, that you suffer no more. And what an exit Johnnie! Waiting until you were surrounded with those you held so deeply in your heart. We who were lucky enough to know you will miss you. But we have so many funny memories to replay in our heads, you will never be forgotten. Rest in peace my friend. We love you.
