Guestbook

  1. John,
You were so dedicated to family and tradition. Not only were you passionate about keeping in touch with family members, but you never forgot those that passed on before you. You kept their spirits alive, and you’ll live forever in our hearts. I will miss chatting with you about your cooking and trips to Arthur Avenue for all the special ingredients.

You are now with those that you loved so much. Rest in peace and forever happiness.
    Love,
    Lori

  2. candleJohn,
You will be missed. I’ll miss your knowledge of the garden, baking, seasonal foods, political and religion.
I’ll always remember our childhood: The Bronx Zoo [monkey house], your apartment playground, our backyard games.

Be in peace, your cousin – Lorene

  3. John,
Thanks for always being in touch with my Dad particularly in the tough times after my Mom passed. I know he always appreciated the calls and loved to talk about family with you. He loved your visits to Rye always with Italian pastries in hand especially knowing how difficult it was for you to make the long drives back and forth to LI. We were always amazed how consistently you visited family burial sites during the various holidays and placed flowers on all the graves. You are now joined with your family forever in heaven. God bless and rest in peace.

    Love,
    Andy
