Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. candleUncle Jack loved us unconditionally. He taught us many valuable lessons. He was strict yet fun. Many fond memories and first experiences of summers spent together: Backyard games like bocce, and croquet. And who could forget the grill. We tried many new foods, helped with meal prep, making pizzelles. Sitting under the awning over the picnic table playing board games. Learning and respect for the game of pool. The different models of the telephone. As a youngster, learning to say prayer before eating turned into “Grace, let’s eat!” many years later for our children. The 1982 Family Reunion. Visiting Yellow Top farm, Friendly’s, canoeing at Smithtown beach, golfing, and shopping for the next family car. When asked why he and Aunt Dede invited us every summer, He said “Because we wanted to”. As a grownup he shared how Santa sent letters and ornaments to our children every year for ten plus years. We always will love you Uncle Jack and you will be forever in our hearts.

  2. candleUncle Jack, I love and miss you. Say hi to Nana, Grandpa and Aunt Dede. Hope Heaven has a golf course and bowling alley for you. Don’t forget about us.
