John Orlando

John Orlando, age 97, of Ridge, NY died Sunday, November 8, 2015. Born June 12, 1918 in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Justo and Ninfa (DeLeo) Orlando. He served in the US Army in WWII. He was employed by IBEW Local 3, Queens, NY as an Electrician. He is survived by his loving daughter: Bernadette Oeser of New Jersey, sons: Dennis of Ridge, NY and John of Ohio, six cherished Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dilcia Orlando, and his son, Joseph Orlando. The family and friends will meet at the Rocky Point Funeral Home 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY 11778 at 10am Thursday November 12th. Committal services will follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, NY.
