Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. John, I’m SO happy my parents chose you to be my godfather! I loved spending time with you & all the family at the house in Brooklyn. Even tho I was a little kid & you were a teenager or a little older way back then, you always took the time to talk with me. As the years went on, the family parties at your house were the best! You treated my kids like you treated me. Will love & miss you always. Big hugs to all the Buteras & Passalaquas up there with you. ❤️

  2. John you were the star of Lennox Road bar-b-ques by the pool. Looked up to you always as my dive and swim coach! And your kindness to a skinny kid cousin. Thanks for the memories. ❤️

  3. Thank you for so many wonderful memories. Now you’re hanging with the old crew, so I know you’re happy. Give Gene, Marguerite, Marguerita, Uncle Phil, Vinnie, and all the rest a big hug from me.

  4. candleWhen we know someone as long as most of us have known John, it makes us feel most sad. We should rejoice in all the years he was with us and we enjoyed his company. We’re going to miss him.

  5. John you comforted me so many times throughout the years that I have known you. Thank you for your kind heart. Love and will miss you❤️

  6. Listening to 50’s music from the adults and having all
My Uncles and Aunts there. Getting benched pressed as a younger nephew by Unvke John and his brothers

  7. We were friends for over 75 years. School, the fun teenage years in Brooklyn, the young adult years in Baldwin and later still in LI. Will miss the fun times we had over the years and am comforted by knowing John is at peace. Like the Frank Sinatra song (his favorite after the 50’s, he did it his way!
