  1. candleJon found joy in things most people would take for granted. I always admired his passion for music, his enthusiasm, wit, sense of humor, generosity and intelligence. Jon was a good friend, a good man. I will always remember him.

  2. candleJon was truly a special person, and I’m so incredibly blessed to have known him. I will treasure our friendship and our memories. I’m grateful for your passion, your singing, your cooking, your participation on our baseball fun team, your wisdom, your support, your motivation, and your kindness. Vegas will always hold a special place in its heart for you and so shall I. Thank you for the love.

  3. candleDeepest condolences to Joey, Paul, and Rose Marie from the O’Connell Family. Thank you for sharing spirited stories, memories, and photos of Jon.

  4. candleWhen I first met Jon I was still a teenager (one of his brothers friends) but Jon welcomed us into his home and became a friend as well. He never did anything halfway he always acted and gave straight from his heart. I am proud to call him my friend and will miss his stories and wit.

  5. candleI only met Jon several months ago as he came to work at the bank and I was assigned to be his mentor and show him the ropes. We spoke daily during the past several months and I can honestly say it was like we knew each other for a lifetime. He was smart and witty and always positive. I found out that he had 6 dogs and I said “who would want 6 dogs”? He went on to tell me their story and how he fell in love with all of them. I realized then what a BIG heart this guy has. The last several days have been rough as I think about how precious life is and the pain all of his loved ones are going through. We cannot take one day for granted as no one knows what day will be our last. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his loved ones and I will always remember Jon even though we spent a short time working together.

  6. We were close for only a short time in our lives, but the impact and memories we made will last forever. I am grateful for every minute. Rest In Peace cousin Jon.
