You were always my Uncle Joe…your kindness and caring will always be in my heart.

You brought so much joy every time you entered a room with your beautiful smile, your always kind words and your amazing positivity. Our family will always cherish the memories of having you and Mary in our home enjoying many a Greek Easter together. You will always be in our hearts and we will miss you. xxxooo
Joseph…you saved our friend’s life….we remember you with gratitude. You were her light.
My beloved brother, I will miss you forever. Be happy with our Mama, Papa and sister and brothers. I love you.
My Uncle Joey will always have a place in my heart. My childhood summer vacations included long stays with him and my Aunt Anna in Long Island, creating memories year after year. His home on Rose Street was my summer escape filled with swimming, laughing especially with Uncle Joey as he would very dramatically wet his body before jumping into the pool and waking up early with him (very quietly) to see the bunnies in his yard. Having Uncle Joey in my life was a blessing, my father left and he took a father role for me. I adore him, I felt truly loved by him and he will be missed and never forgotten.
Love to Aunt Mary,
Chrissy, Tommy and our girls Jessica, Rebecca and Isabella
So sad to hear the News of Joseph death-we feel with you and send our deep Sympathy to all of you. We have so wonderful memories of Joseph-last Time in Munich…Give him a Last Hug from all of us❣️Your German Friends Inge and Martin, Elisabeth, Julia and Patrick🤗
Joey was a very good friend of my Dad Charlie Hickey. Joey would call my Dad regularly at least once a week to keep in touch. They were friends for years beginning with working together on the police force. Joey was a good friend to my Dad. I am so very sorry for your loss.
My deepest sympathy to your family upon the passing of your father. My dad (Charlie Hickey) worked with your father for many years in Queens in the NYPD. Your father called mine every week and after my dad passed in July of 2019, he then called me every week. Such a sweet man. He would often put Mary on the phone. I remember your mother, Ann.
Again, my sincere condolences.
To The Calandrino family
We’re so sad to hear the news. A kind decent man and dedicated NYPD we were faithful friends for so many years from Brooklyn to the Bluff. May the good memories of a life lived well be a comfort to all.

Joe…My wife & I just found out you passed & were saddened to hear of it. I promised you we would take good care of your house when we purchased it back in 2004, bringing another Italian family into it. Of course we renovated it & made it our own both inside & out; but we kept that promise & we will always remember you. God bless.
I am so saddened to only now learn of your passing. You were a treasure to my mother and to me – all those years taking her to church and checking in on her. God bless your family and God bless your eternal soul.
