I remember as a child when we would go and visit Aunt Rose and Uncle Joe and Joey and Dennis in Bellmore, LI, we would have to take several buses from Brooklyn to Floyd Bennett Field where Uncle Joe worked and then from there he would take us to their home in Bellmore for a visit. One time Uncle Joe put my sister Teresa and I in the helicopter and started the propeller and it scared the daylights out of my mom because she would never get into the helicopter. Uncle Joe was laughing and I always remember he had this really hearty laugh and his shoulders would shake up and down when he laughed. Thank you Uncle Joe for that happy memory. Rest in peace. You will be missed. All my love, Laura
