Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. While I was a volunteering for Good Shephard Hospice it was highly unlikely that I’d become
friends with anyone I had the honor to spend time with in the last part of their lives. Then there was Joe. In October 2022 I began visiting him weekly at his home. We’d talk (well, he would talk and I’d listen 😉 and watch cheesy romcoms together on the Hallmark channel
and sometimes a football game. I wrote his life story as a keepsake for the family and loved listening to all of his stories. When he was well enough to move into the veterans home we kept in touch and I’d visit him there on my own time.
And when I moved to Florida we spoke regularly and even FaceTimed! He was my friend, and I love him very much and will miss his text messages and our chats. He was a special man and my heart goes out to Allison, Troy & Todd and the grandchildren. ❤️

  2. candleRIP. Mr. M. I’ve only had great memories from baseball. You’ve done a wonderful job raising your children, who will undoubtedly follow your legacy.
