Joseph M Curreri. Age 87 of Lake Grove formerly of Massapequa Park, NY On December 27, 2015. Beloved Husband of Rose of 62 years.Loving Father of Denise (Larry) Hennessey, & Diane (Bill) Foronjy. Adored Grandfather of Nicole and Michelle Foronjy & Alana Hennessey.Joe attended Brooklyn College graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting in 1950. He was in the US Army during the Korean War serving as Staff Sergeant with honorable discharge in 1952. His career included business management positions and was Purchasing Manager for the Long Island Railroad retiring in 1992. Joe enjoyed his retirement years with his family. He vacationed to Italy with his wife Rose, and also enjoyed shows, local travel, music and reading. We will miss his big smile and loving ways more than words could ever say and hold him in our hearts forever.Reposing at Branch Funeral Home 190 East Main St. Smithtown, NY 11787.Visitation today 2-4 & 7-9 PM.Funeral Mass Wednesday 9:45AM at St. Patrick's R. C. Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
