Joseph P. Striano, age 81, of Rocky Point. New York died Friday, August 19, 2022. Joseph was born September 11, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Philip and the late Ruth (Conklin) Striano. He was the owner of North Electric, Rocky Point, New York. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maureen (Thompson) Striano, and his loving children, Roxanne Lederman of Rocky Point, New York, Joanne (John) Mueller of Manorville, New York, Bernadette (Thomas) Carter of Spring Hill, Florida, Paulette DeNardi of Shallotte, North Carolina, and Joseph L. Striano of Rocky Point, New York. He is also the cherished grandfather of five grandchildren and two great grandchildren with another on the way. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. The funeral service will be held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, New York , on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his name be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
