Joseph Stile Age 97, Proud lifelong resident of Brooklyn,NY passed peacefully on March 28, 2015Board of Trustee of NY Community Hospital for over 40 years, Knight of Holy Sepulchre & Commander with a Star, Member of Holy Name Society for 60 years, President of Hemophilia Foundation for 17 years, President of MS Foundation for 12 years, Member & historian of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce & he also was recognized as the Ambassador of Brooklyn, Appointed by Governor Hugh Carey as Advocate for the Disabled & motivational speaker to all he came in contact with.Beloved Husband of the Late Mary.Dearest Father of Joseph (Karyl) Stile & Loretta (Henry) Vigliante.Loving Grandfather of Joseph, Craig, Christopher, Mark, Kevin, John, Thomas, Paul, & Lauren.Cherished Great Grandfather of Joseph, Nicole, Michael, Vivien, Olivia, Thomas & Justin.

Gramps was an inspiration to all his grandchildren and is a great example to live by. He will always be in my heart and I will never forget him. I hope that I can live my life in a way that honors him. Gramos you are the best! Rest in peace.
