Joe, you were a very dear friend for over 15 years. I can’t imagine life without your wonderful wisdom and advice but I suppose I must. Thank you for the many years of friendship, guidance, and help. Thanks for being such a great friend. You were and still are without equal. Smart, charming, classy, and great. You leave behind a huge hole in my life. I will miss you greatly. The years go by and memories fade, but you are still with me, Joe. The many times we shared telling stories (mostly you talked and I listened), but your stories were great and I still share them with people, are still fresh in my mind. I miss your sage advice and your clever solutions. The times you used the Black Panthers to take on the Corrupt NYPD back in Serpico’s day. The time you threw a hammer at a Teamster thug and scared him into never returning. I pass by your house often and think of you. Hoping you are enjoying great laughs in heaven.
