Julio Diaz

Julio Diaz, age 93, of Rocky Point, New York died Monday, February 7, 2022. Julio was born February 13, 1928 in Humaco, Puerto Rico . He is the son of the late Fernando and the late Gabriella (Santiago) Diaz. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Gladys in 2020 and loving daughter, Martha Vasquez in 2018. He was employed in the Garment District, New York as a Button Salesman. He is survived by his dear children Debbie Russo, Herbert Diaz and Richard Diaz. He is also the cherished Grandfather to ten grandchildren, nine, great grandchildren and one great, great, grandchild. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. As per NYS Mandates, masks are required to be worn in all indoor public places, effective Monday, December 13, 2021. To comply with this requirement, we will implement and enforce a mask requirement for all individuals aged 2 and above entering the funeral home. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Friends and family will meet at the Funeral Home, Friday at 9:30 AM for a 10:00AM closing prayer and will proceed together to Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, New York for burial.
