Kathleen Godberson, 77, of East Northport, NY passed away on February 27, 2026.
Affectionately known as “Nanna”, Kathleen was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Rachel and Robert Corrozza. She was one of eight children and played a caregiving role from early on in her life.
She spent her Summers on Long Island, where she met her beloved husband Raymond of 49 years. She now joins him in heaven.
They went onto have three sons: George IV (Bernadette), Robert (MaryAnn), and Raymond (Renee). 13 grandchildren: George V (Brianna), Kaitlyn (Matthew), Lauren, Robert, Gianna, Aidan, Nicholas, Brooke, Ava, Junior, Jett, Marianna, Serafina. And one great grandchild, George VI.
Kathleen was fueled by caring for her family, watching her grandchildren, and cooking for any occasion. She had a passion for cruising and loved to stay in touch with her many friends from St. Catherine of Siena hospital, where she worked in Labor and Delivery for over 30 years.
She will be incredibly missed, but her memory will be carried on by her children and grandchildren as they honor her through keeping up with family traditions of Christmas Eve, Sunday Dinners, and ensuring family always comes first.
