  1. Rest in peace Larry…we know you will be a special angel for Joyce and Quigley always…we love you.

  2. Larry was the ‘light of Canon’. Very friendly and the best ever. He will be truly missed. Love…bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things1 Corinthians 13:4-7

  3. Someone I always respected and grateful to know and work with. My prayers are with you and your family at this very sad time.

  4. Dear Joyce and Family, I was a Canon USA Jamesburg employee and was fortunate to have Larry’s support and his trust in me. He mentored me to be the best I could be and always took time to share his expertise and became a trusted friend to me. I am heartbroken that his life was cut short. A good, kind man who I admired very much. God Bless him and his family.

  6. Dear Giglio Family:I had the honor of knowing and working with Larry for many years at Canon USA. His sense of humor and quick mind made him one of my favorite people at the company. He brought a lot of energy and depth to Canon, and truly touched everyone who came in contact with him. He also was an extraordinarily generous person. One day, while I was at his desk in Lake Success to discuss a matter, I admired a little Flexy Flyer that he used for his business cards and a Timex motorcycle clock, which opened up a discussion about our shared love of riding and speed. Within a few days, I came back to my desk and the Flyer was there with a note that I should enjoy it as well. And not long thereafter, he recalled that my birthday was on St. Patty’s Day, and he dropped by to give me a motoclock. His unexpected kindness always stayed with me. That cardholder is on my work desk as I type, and the motoclock is on my dresser at home, a constant daily reminder of my tall, super cool friend. My heart is broken for you, as he deserved a much longer time in the world and to savor growing old. He made the world a better place by being in it, and will live on my memory. May you be comforted in knowing your sorrow at his passing is shared by his friend, Ruth.

  7. A tremendous loss to mankind. Larry was a true human being. A mentor, a friend, a listener, an advisor, a great boss, a sounding board, a confidant and a big brother. Will be sadly missed.

  8. Dear Joyce, I am so sorry to hear about Larry’s passing. He was always a great person to work with and he had a very kind heart. He really cared about his employees. May you find peace in the coming days and healing in the months to come.

  9. My heart is broken. There are no words to describe the sadness I feel and I am very lucky to have had Larry as my close and cherished friend.Joyce, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

  10. Dear Joyce, My sincerest condolences to you and your family. My heart broke hearing of Larry’s passing. Larry was not only my boss, he was also a mentor and a very dear friend. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for people he cared about. I will miss him dearly, may he rest in peace.

  11. Dear JoyceI was stunned early this morning to receive a phone call that Larry had passed away. We had just corresponded last week and he told me that due to his last aunt passing and his back bothering him, we could not meet in Sarasota….he told me he was missing the warm weather. Larry was such a great person. He always offered his counsel and his assistance, not in only with issues at work but also with personal issues. He was a great source of inspiration and consolation during many of the personal crisis I had during my tenure at Canon and for that I am eternally grateful. His sense of fairness and his concern for his fellow man should be emulated by all. Be consoled that so many people loved him, admired him and resected him. May the good Lord give you comfort to get through this difficult time and may you rebound with smiles and all the pleasant memories of your 44 years of marriage. With much affection, George K Lavas

I know that he loved and missed them very much. He may be gone, but he will certainly never be forgotten. He will truly be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this very difficult time.
