Lawrence B. Hennessey
July 12, 1939 ~ January 1, 2022
Lawrence B. Hennessey age 82 of Smithtown, NY passed after a short and sudden illness surrounded by his wife and daughters. Devoted husband of Denise for 27 years and ever-loving father of their daughter Alana. Dedicated father to his daughters Marylou (Jeff Hamilton), Sharon (Rick Aitken) and proud papa to granddaughters Kaitlyn and Rachel. Larry loved all of his family and took great joy in their love for him. Larry had a successful 55 year business career at Grumman (NGC) where he was highly regarded for his expertise, finally retiring in 2012. Larry took quiet pride in supporting multiple naval and space programs especially Apollo Lunar Modules #3 and #6, and the F-14 Tomcat Fighter. Our hearts are broken to no longer have him by our side. May God bless him with eternal happiness.

Larry My Dear Husband, You were taken from me too fast. I am so sorry for your suffering and it was a great blessing to be with you when God called your name. Our years together were absolutely beautiful and I can not thank you enough for loving me so much and taking care of me and Alana everyday single day. We did everything together, big and small, and I will treasure those memories forever. Our whole house is you and me, everywhere I look I see you and what you did to make our house a home.
