It has been an honor to have been friends with Leo for about 25 years. We have shared a few glasses of red wine and port with him, even though Aurora would say. ‘Leo, you have had enough.’ It was times like this we would hear the stories of his times in Portugal and hear all the proverbial humor that came along with them. We will miss him dearly, as will Christina, Adam and family, and his ever faithful caretaker Aurora. Sending love and prayers to you all.
Primo Leonel will always be remebered by us! He was always such a kind and funny spirit, no one could ever feel sad or down next to him. He always had great stories and the ability to make you picture them in your head! We will miss him and he will always be remebered in our hearts and prayers. Our deepest condolences to Aurora and the family. Love from Portugal
We first met this great man back in 2000 when we arrived in the USA. Leo was a larger than life character and I will miss our endless chats about the game that we both loved. Our love and condolences to his beautiful family. It was a privilege myfriend. Love Steve, Lisa, Samantha,Alex and Adam X
My dear cousin, though we were years apart in age, miles apart in dwelling, and our meetings throughout life few and far between, I knew you well enough to know that you were a unique and kind soul who only saw the best in all of us around you. Therefore, your light shone brightly whenever we saw you. You will be forever missed by us all. May you now rest in peace with the Lord.
Leo bright personality can never be extinguished.
