I knew her as “Charlie”. She called me “JP”. We went to nursing school together and kept in touch for nearly 60 years.We bonded over our love of the ocean .
When Megan was born she admitted to being afraid to give her a bath so I drove from New Haven for Baby Bath 101 !
Charlie was a bright light who fought to stay in that way despite life trying to dim her glow.
You will be missed my friend , but be with me each time I walk on the beach. I love you Chas.
