  1. Please accept my deepest condolences. Lisa was my first boss at the IRS. She was the best, I really enjoyed her. Rest easy Lisa.

  2. My deepest condolences. Lisa was my manager for many years and I still use my lap blanket she knitted for everyone in our unit. I have fond memories when I use it. Rest in peace.

  3. candleI am so sorry to hear of Lisa’s passing. My heartfelt condolences to her family. I also worked at the IRS in employment with her. We both volunteered at St Marks bingo and lived not too far from each other in Leisure Village. We would walk dogs together. She had Heidi and I my Maggie. She was a wonderful lady whose company I will miss. Prayers to her family to get thru this difficult time.

    • Hello. We are here at moms if you would like to come by and say hello. We will be here al next week. Thank you for the kind words.

  4. May fond memories, love and support of family and friends comfort you during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with Lisa back in the day in Timekeeping. I still have and use a monogram tissue box cover she made. Lisa was a hard worker, dedicated, organized and a wonderful Supervisor. She mastered tallying the time sheets and frowned upon using a calculator. I never forgot those moments, her German accent and the laughs. With heartfelt sympathy,

    • She really was a littler perfectionist who loved to bring the best out of everyone. Thank you for your memories family enjoys reading them.

  5. Dear Michael James and Denise,

I just heard about your mom from a friend of mine who’s on facebook. I don’t have the internet. I remember all the years of working together and being at the house with all of you and watching you all grow up.
Your mom and I were good friends for 43 years. I was saddened by the news.
I hope all of you and your children are doing fine.
I could not post this because it wants an email address which I don’t have. I had to put my sister’s.

    All my love,
    Dawn

  6. candleLisa, Rosie and I did Bingo together at the Village. Lisa was a special lady…so full of life. My condolences to the family on their great loss.

  7. I just want to say you will be truly missed. I appreciated all your welcoming love & kindness you shared. Love, Sheila

  8. To my dear friend and travel mate I will miss you always. Many fond memories lots of laughs and tears. I was hoping now that I’m back in New York that we would have more time together but I know you are not in pain anymore and we will see each other again. To the family you had a most wonderful mother and she will always watch over you. Peace be with you

  9. To my beautiful Oma , I am sending all my love to you and I will miss you very much. It’s hard to find the right words for something like this. I know you always looked forward to my hand written cards and I loved writing them too you. You taught us all so much, and showed us real love and tough love. You’ll forever be the cutest little lady and an inspiration to me. Love you so very much and thank you for all the joy you brought into my life. I’m honored to have you as my Oma

  10. I will always treasure our long friendship at work and outside of work. We started out as friends when I gave you the first haircut. I enjoyed spending time with you , even when you rushed me.I’ll miss going to the theatre with you, going out shopping to ikea, meeting for lunch and most of all I will miss your delicious cakes and scones…You were always there for me when I needed you and you will never be forgotten..I will truly miss you my friend..

  11. candleMy deepest condolences to the family of Lisa Cavaliero, I feel heartfelt sadness. I will always cherish the two gifts Lisa gave to me. The headsock she knitted, and the small flower apothecary shop list. I am glad I got to meet her again. I wish I had more time to get to know you Lisa. Rest in peace.

    • Thank you so much. Mom was very good to bring anyone into our fold when we introduced them to her. She would ask about your driving and how you were doing.

  12. My deepest condolences to the family of Lisa Cavaliero. I only met Lisa once but we had so much in common because of our German background. I wish I could have spent more time with her. Rest in Peace Lisa

  13. To my beautiful mom. I love you with all my heart. You will be my forever best friend. Can’t believe you are gone. Thank you for showing my brothers and I how to rise up and make something out of a horrible situation. Thank you for loving your grandchildren the way you did. The Deacon said it so beautifully yesterday when he spoke to the grandchildren and asked them to honor you by volunteering for a charity or giving back to the community the way you did. I miss you mom. Listening to the community express their love and gratitude for you was heart warming. The holidays aren’t going to be the same and there is a forever whole in my heart. Ich Leibe dich
