  1. Lisa was such a warm person, she made me feel welcomed and at ease which is not easy for me. I didn’t know of her struggle till some time later, and I could only think about how no only a warm person, but what a strong person she was as well. She will be greatly missed and our family sends our condolences to Vic, Melissa, Chris, and Jules.

  2. We did not have the pleasure to get to know Lisa, but what a daughter and soccer player she has in Jules. Our heart felt condolences in losing a loving mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Spadafora Family. May your warm memories of her comfort your heart at this most difficult time. Sincerely, Maggie’s Family

  3. Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for all of you.Lisa put up a tremendous fight always, researching treatments. A remarkable woman who definitely took after her Mom. God took them done this path hand in hand.My prayers are with all of the family; especially the childrenAlways in my prayers

  4. I’m sure Lisa knew she was surrounded with love during her final struggle. That should give you all some peace. May the fond memories help comfort you.

  5. We were very honored to have known Lisa and have her in our lives. She was one of the strongest women I know. She never seemed to give up the fight and always inspired me. Lisa will never BE FORGOTTEN.. She will live on in all of us that were blessed to have known her. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you my friend!!! I miss you..

  6. Lisa, It was a priviledge and honor to know such a special person! You were a better friend to me than I could ever be. You were the strongest and most caring person I have ever known. You fought for everyone, your family and many friends, but most importantly you fought for yourself so you would be here for the rest of us. Lisa, although I know you had much support in the end I will always, always regret that I was not able to be there for you and to tell you how much you meant to me.. I cherish the memories of our time together and will be forever grateful to you for treating my Chris as your own. I will continue to pray for you, Vic and your mom, Melissa, Nicole, Chris and Julianna , your sister and your brother that they have your strength during this difficult time. I am certain that wherever you are, you will continue to influence and fight for your children and surround them with love. I am also certain that they will continue to do what you want them to do and make you proud! Rest in peace, my friend!

  7. I am so sorry for your loss. The pain of death can be overwhelming. The Bible provides much comfort during difficult times. We are promised at 1 Corinthians 15:26 that, soon now, ‘death will be brought to nothing’ on an Earth without wickedness (Psalms 37:10,11). Then, we have the prospect of being reunited with our loved one right here on Earth (John 5:28,29). I hope this brings you comfort and hope. Sincerely, Jan

  8. I had the privilege to be friends with Lisa for many years. She was a strong and loving woman. She was taken too soon but she is no longer in pain and will be with all of us in our memories and hearts. I’m so sorry for the entire Spadafora family and pray for peace and understanding of your terrible loss. I will miss you Lisa!

  9. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jules and her entire family. Lisa Spadafora was one of the first Mom’s I had contact with from the Hotshotz team when my daughter Sarah first joined the team, and she was very kind and welcoming, which was just the beginning of what we would find to be her true nature. Without having spent too much time with her, I could tell Lisa was a leader. She did so much to keep the Hotshotz team and families connected behind the scenes — organizing and running the successful (& very fun) carwash fundraiser, updating the Shutterfly website, ordering the tournament shirts, collecting money for coach gifts, ….. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to meet Lisa, and am sad to hear of her passing. She has a lovely daughter in Jules, and I remember Lisa mentioning how proud she was that one or both of her twins were going to pursue health careers, having been inspired by Lisa’s illness and perseverance throughout her battle with this terrible disease. In the very short time I knew her, I could tell that her family was of utmost importance to her. I hope Lisa’s family can find solace in knowing that she was a proud and happy mom. Cherish the good times and never forget that you were very much loved. I was sad to hear of Lisa’s passing, but I believe she is at rest now and hope that her family and friends will find comfort in knowing that she touched the lives of many in a very positive way. With our deepest sympathies, the Watters Family.
