My sincere condolences go out to Loretta’s husband, John, and family during this time of great sorrow. I met Loretta last year as she was finishing her term as Regent for the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Queen of the Universe #1702, in Smithtown. As the current Regent for CDA #1702, please be assured Loretta is in my prayers and those of our Court’s members, as she was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She has gone on to her Heavenly reward.
May you be singing with all the angels and the saints. May the soul of Loretta rest in peace. Amen.
Loretta was the inspiration and the guidance for us to begin the Junior Catholic Daughters Chapter at St. Patrick. I know her spirit will continue through those who participate in the programs she touched. Our prayers are with John and all the family members.Godspeed, Loretta.

To the family of Loretta Kelly: As a fellow Regent of Catholic Daughters Loretta was an inspiration, a supportive friend and a very kind, compassionate person. I am in total shock to know we have lost such a beautiful, vibrant person. I will never forget her kind words of encouragement and support at my first convention and throughout the year on many occasions. I know you will now be our Catholic Daughter Angel watching over all of us. I pray the family finds strength in the love they shared and the beautiful memories they made. I was shocked to hear of Loretta’s passing. I met her several times while I was Regent at Ct. Queen of Life. Loretta always had a beautiful smile for everyone. My deepest condolences to her family. What a loss. She, and her family, will be in my prayers.
I am sorry. I forgot to mention I am the Past Regent of Court St Mark 2311 in Ridge. I am still in such shock. I have wonderful memories of our ‘sisterhood’ in the Catholic Daughters and am so happy I had the chance to know Loretta and work with her. Please accept the deep condolences from our Court membership. She will not be forgotten and will always be in our prayers for her to rest in peace and for consolation for her family!God bless and Godspeed~!! John, please don’t hesitate to call me if you want to talk. Loretta was such a funny and kind soul. I wish I had the chance to see her like we had planned. The last time we spoke we spent over two hours on the phone. She had me in tears, hysterical laughing. It was the last time we spoke, but it was one of the best phone calls I’ve ever had. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
