  1. Mom,You are truly missed. You were a wonderful example of what a mom should be. We rejoice in the fact that your are with the Lord! So, as I struggle to deal with this loss, I hold onto the following scripture:’Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will will make your paths straight’ Proverbs 3:5-6

  2. Dear Famia, Arielle, Jacob, Ethan, and the entire family:We are so sorry for the great loss of your dear mom and grandma. I have such fond memories of your beautiful mom from way back when on Long Island. She was a strong, funny, loving mother, wonderful caregiver to your father, a talented seamstress and a rock for your family! She welcomed all of us girls into your home and treated us like family and we had so many laughs there. It was such a blessing to get to see her and Irene again when we visited with you as well a few years ago. It’s hard to believe she is gone. We will be praying for all of you as you prepare for her memorial service. We wish we could be there with you, but we send our love always. Jodi, Steve, Sam and Faith Lenz

  3. Mom, Whatever that could said would never be enough, words could never express how much you mean to me.Ecclesiastes 7:1A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death is better than the day of birth.Mom, until I see you again, Love you

  4. Aunt Marcella, we miss you so much. Your soul lives on forever in our hearts. Rest In Peace, say hello to my mom and dad.

  5. I never got the chance to meet you but feel like I have known you forever. So precious you were and loved by some many. My condolences to you and the lovely family you have created.

  6. Mrs. Hawat, while on Earth, you always worried about everyone and selflessly helped everyone you could. I am confident you are now in the Lord’s house enjoying your eternal reward. Nevertheless, you will be forever missed on this Earth by all that knew and loved you. Love, Pat and Terry

Your love created your children, which then bequeathed great grandchildren, All to carry & continue the love that originated from you & will continue spread & grow as the roots of your legacy continue to prosper here on Earth. Thank you for the opportunity to have JOHN & family in my life, its richest friendship & brotherhood conceivable., Your reach extends to my Family & Children & beyond, duplicate this countless times, your love in boundless, AGAPE..

  8. Words cannot begin to describe the wonderful memories I will have of Marcella. Although I only knew her for about 8 years, she truly was like a grandmother to me. We cooked together, shared family stories and we became as close as one can be without related. I had the pleasure of spending the last summer with Marcella She shared many recipes with me we made falafel and grape leaves. We would drink DinaΓÇÖs great Arabic coffee, we told stories of our heritage. Up until the last days of her life Marcella lived an incredibly active life. One that I aspire to follow. Thank you Famia, Johnny and Rita for letting me be a part of your special MomΓÇÖs life. I will live in her footsteps for the rest of my life. I grieve with you all over the sudden loss of Marcella Hawat. Michele Tylosky
