Sinai, and formerly of Ridge, NY on August 31, 2026 in his 99th year, US Navy Veteran and former Athletic Director and Carey High School football coach for the Sewanhaka Central School District. Beloved husband of the Late Stephanie. Loving mother of Marcia (Gary) Jones, and Cynthia (Glenn) Franklin.   1. candleI meet Marcus at the Bristal MT Sinai. He had a good sense of humor. It was great to see his Football friends, he liked to tell me about each player. I will miss him

  3. Heaven gained an angel today. Marc was the brightest light and always a blessing to be around. He never had a bad day, always looked for the joy in people, things and circumstances. He was a gift to our world and will be forever missed. If we all could take a small part of how Marc interacted with people, there would only be kindness today. Rest in joy, Marc. You and Stephanie can get back on your movie schedule in heaven. God Bless you both. My condolences to his family – for you got to be closest to such a beautiful soul – of whom we are all better people for knowing.

  6. candleMarc and Steph traveled with my parents a lot and I dealt with Marc in his capacity as Past President of the NYSPHSAA. Marc has been a second father to me, caring since the passing of mine and we spoke often and fondly.i was looking forward to celebrating his 100th birthday with him- he obviously wanted to celebrate with the love of his life! I will miss him as I loved him immensely!!❤️

  10. Marc was my great, great uncle and I cried so much when I found out about him passing away. My brother was speechless and his eyes started welling up. I was about to go have a 100 year birthday dinner with him but never got the chance to. He was right about to turn 100.

Uncle Marc was a most treasured member of our family, so amazingly dynamic in every way. He had love for all and only wanted happiness for anyone he knew, just met or simply heard of. He was a beloved uncle to us and will never get over the loss of this amazing human.

  12. Marc was my first cousin and we were all so proud of him. My father was his uncle and started throwing a football to him at a young age.
    He left a spot in everyone’s heart who knew him❤️🙏❤️
